Nicola made her big screen debut in Four Weddings and a Funeral, appearing briefly as one half of the awful folk duo who sang at the first wedding. Nicola has sung on Big Town All Stars (a 2001 radio project), snippets of some well known songs a cappella style (and she sounded bloody great). Nicola has sung in the wedding scene in the last episode of Series 1 of The Split. And who can forget Nicola singing and dancing with Stellan Skarsgård to “I Love to Love” in River?

Who would be your ideal karaoke partner and which song would you sing?
Nicola : Phoebe Fox, Under Pressure. She does [David] Bowie and I do Freddie [Mercury].

Phoebe Fox played Catherine in the Ivo van Hove production of Arthur Miller’s A View from the Bridge. She spent the better part of two years appearing on stage almost every night with Nicola, Mark Strong and other cast members firstly in the Young Vic in London, then at Wyndham’s Theatre when the show transferred to the West End, and finally at the Lyceum Theatre on Broadway.

Nicola : I’d love to. I wouldn’t want to speak/sing though! I can just about hold a tune…
