I have just watched, in quick succession, Last Tango in Halifax followed by Heading Out and am astounded at the range of versatility (and brilliance) of Ms Walker: both serious angst and brilliantly comedic. Please, if you can, pass on to her my appreciation and thanks.
More and more work for Ms Walker, please.
Absolutely love it! Presents the complexity of relationship in such a truly human way. This show is such an oasis in the inane US programing of the human family. Can’t wait for season 2.
i really love this show
good, I love this show.
just screened season 1 in South Australia, loved it, had to find out whether I can look forward to another wonderful season. Love all the actors and the highs and lows of all the family. I am happy to hear another season will be made.
Really enjoyed Last Tango as much as Downton Abbey. The sooner Series 2 airs the better.
If they don’t schedule it within the next couple of months, I’ll get my hands on it somehow. Probably buy the DVDs, I do like collecting box sets. 🙂
Still waiting for the first season to be aired in Australia. It would be perfect fare in the evening on the ABC. But no, they’ll just repeat Doc Martin for the fiftieth time, who needs fresh programming?
@ana , you should go to YouTube if its not aired in your area.
Better still, Ana, buy the DVD box set (which is Regions 2 & 4 compatible) via Amazon and watch all six episodes again and again at leisure. We don’t encourage watching TV shows on YouTube since thats ultimately an infringement of the BBC’s and Red Productions’ copyright.
