Anyone in Australia who hasn’t seen this yet – it will be airing on ABC1 starting 5 January at 9:21PM.
Just been informed that “Inside Men” will run on BBC America in their Wednesday night Dramaville slot starting on June 20th at 10pm EST.
I thought inside men was a fantastic British drama exceptionally well made until the end, I tuned in the following Thursday only to just now realise I had already watched the last episode. What a disappointing end to a great drama, the actors were great particularly the security guard who had His leg removed, I’d like to see a lot more dramas with Him in them, keep up the great British work BBC but improve on the endings in future.
How about doing a drama on the Kray gang in 60’s London in a sweeny style setting maybe in black and white – with of course a bit of red.
This series has been much too grim and gritty for my tastes and without any humour to brighten the mood. The 2nd ep was better in terms of the Nicola scenes, I can’t help wondering why on earth her character would have stayed with John this long though – she’s got far too much vitality to put up with his completely annoying lack of get up and go (which also makes the idea of him deciding to get in on the heist really hard to buy into).
With any luck Anthony & Cleopatra will be altogether more enjoyable viewing with greater scope for development of Nicola’s character. Here’s hoping!
This looks really interesting to me. Steven Mackintosh and NW have such a similar acting style, it would be great to see them working together, even if only for a couple of moments.
Glad to read the good reviews for Ep. 1. Bodes well for those of us outside the UK. I put a bug in the ear of BBC America and asked if there was any chance that they could get this one for their Wednesday night “Dramaville” line-up; the same slot in which they run Luther, The Hour, State of Play, and Whitechapel. Fingers crossed….
