You have seen the beautiful image prepared for the Ruth Evershed Memorial page by Liga. If you haven’t, you should head over to that page right away. We now give you the Ruth Evershed in a Nutshell comic book which has been prepared for us exclusively by Liga. (Thank YOU Liga!)
The entire book contains 39 pages, including the cover. We will release a page a day from today onwards. The entire comic book will, of course, be included in our Ruth Evershed Scrapbook which we will present to Nicola in due course.
Enjoy!

And that concludes this edition of Ruth Evershed in a Nutshell.
Thanks for taking the time to makes these, they are absolutely INCREDIBLE it’s the alternate ending we all deserved
FANTASTIC comics!! I just loved it! It was sooo good to have kinda happy ending after such a devastating ending for Ruth and Harry! I couldn’t stop crying after the last episod of season 10 so it felt so good to smile and even laugh all along the 39 pages of your comics. I particularly liked the page when Harry tells Ruth he’s sold her books and ipod and he should wait to tell her for her cats! This moment in the series was so awfully sad and dramatic and you managed to turn it into something so funny! I’m a big fan! I hope you managed to show your work to Nicola and that she loved it!
Thank you!
Thank you very much for your kind comments. I’m pleased that it made some of you laugh or at least smile… after all that was the purpose of this comic after the end of the Spooks saga and…
To be honest I did not plan to make so many pages, I thought I would make one or two but then there was this and that I wanted to include and in the end it turned out to be “slightly” longer project than originally planned. 😉
And my answer to the question/hint/wishful thinking of another comic- as my English teacher used to tell me- Never say never! 😉
Cheers!
Oh my GOSH. That is amazing!! You have to tell us what Nicola says about it (if she looks at it when you’re around/near her) haah
And finally an upbeat ending… bravo! (Plus is that a hint there may be another comic to come?!)
That last statement was made more in hope than an actual hint 😛
Fair enough, there’s no harm in being an optimist!
Excellent excellent excellent!!!
The whole comic is excellent, but the final few pages made me smile and laugh out loud, especially Ruth’s disguise!! I think its time we all had a smile on our faces after such a sorrowful ending to Spooks.
Well done Liga, I hope Nicola enjoys reading your outstanding and very patient efforts, it must have taken you ages to create!
Laughed at the lines about all it would take was a house in Suffolk not Sussex (if only it were that simple!) and after 2 days of Ruth being gone Harry’s already topped the US most wanted list…! You’ve done a really good job with this, Liga, and I hope you get the chance to show it to Nicola – you deserve it for your efforts 🙂
Thank you for your amazing comic book. What a great gift for an incredible actress. We all need the laughter after the devastating ending of Spooks. Nicola Walker will love it. I hope that Peter Firth sees it too.
Thanks guys! Happy it brings smile on your faces! Must admit even I check out it every day for a new page! 😀 x
LMAO! This is such a great stuff! It almost feels like opening a present every day… 🙂 Keep it coming until Christmas right? ;))
Great idea, looks fabulous and made me smile. Thanks Liga 🙂
I agree, a comic’s a great idea, I expect you had fun creating it – all 39 pages 😉 Love the mosaic photo you prepared too, very creative!
A comic book? What a bonkers but brilliant idea! Well done, Liga. Look forward to reading the other pages. To the Ed : you don’t suppose you’d like to release two pages a day, instead of just one a day? 🙂
Oh how incredibly BRILLAINT! I adore this! So clever and so funny! *all smiles right now* Thanks so much for sharing. I’m sure Nicola will love it. 🙂
