To celebrate their engagement, instead of buying a ring, Alan and Celia decided to spend the money on a Lexus sports car. In one scene, the car was shown with the top down, but in another scene, the car was shown with a hard top. Some fans have questioned whether there was a continuity problem, i.e. they thought that two different cars were used. No, there was no goof.
