Our First Donation!

As you may have noticed, we have shopping links throughout the fansite where you can shop for products available on the Amazon US and Amazon UK websites. To find out more about how these shopping links work, visit our Shop page.

We have now accumulated more than £150 in total commissions earned on the Amazon US and Amazon UK websites. This means that clicks on the shopping links on this fansite have generated sales in excess of US$1,500 on Amazon US and £1,800 on Amazon UK respectively. We do not know who you are, but we wish to say a big THANK YOU to all the fans who have made purchases from Amazon US or UK through the fansite shopping links. Your support is greatly appreciated. We hope you will continue with this support in the days to come.

Since there is always a time lag of a couple of months between the time the commission is earned and the time Amazon processes the relevant payment to us, as of this writing (September 2012), we have only received about £100 worth of commissions. Accordingly, we made a donation today (13 September 2012) for £100 in the name of Nicola with the US MS Society. You can check out the acknowledgement from the MS Society in the image below. (Click on the pic to see a larger image.)

On the MS Society’s donation page, you can leave a remark when you make a donation. We indicated that the donation is made on behalf of Nicola by all of her fans. Unfortunately, this remark is not shown in the Acknowledgement issued by the MS Society.

We will continue to make donations to the MS Society as and when we accumulate each £100 worth of commissions and report this here when we do.
